Recreation

Kayakers can make a day out of traveling the chain of lakes. Launch at the Michigan Center boat launch on Fifth street, and kayak all the way over to Wolf Lake Rd. in Grass Lake, exiting at the county park there. It’s a good solid day of Kayaking with great scenery along the way. Jetskis and boats are advised to watch out for the Alcott bridge which is low.

One of the best sand bars in the whole area is the Wolf Lake sandbar which can really draw a crowd in the summer.
