Adrian police have arrested a man accused of repeatedly stabbing a woman over the weekend.
Officers responded to a home on South Winter Street around noon Sunday, where they found a woman with multiple stab wounds. The suspect had already fled in a vehicle. The victim was rushed to the hospital, where she remains in critical but stable condition.
Investigators later found the suspect’s car and, by Monday, had tracked him to a home in Adrian. Police obtained a search warrant and took him into custody without incident.
He is now in the Lenawee County Jail, facing charges including Assault with Intent to Murder. His identity will be released once he is arraigned. Anyone with information is urged to contact Adrian Police.
