Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The Jackson Area Hockey Association (JAHA) is going to be hosting a “Try Hockey for Free” event on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Optimist Ice Arena, 1300 W. North Street. The event is meant for kids age 4-9 to try hockey in a fun and safe environment surrounded by trained coaching staff. David Davis and Jessica Crandall told WKHM that no experience is required.
And for the adults who are new to being hockey parents, JAHA has plenty of volunteers ready to help you and your kids.
Jessica told WKHM how to register.
JAHA will provide all of the necessary equipment for skating at this event.
