A new semi-pro football team has arrived in Brooklyn for the 2025 season by the name of the Southern Michigan Wolves. Owner and Head Coach Steven Gossett joined AM Jackson to discuss the team, including on the topic of an upcoming fundraiser that is being held to help the team cover costs.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining the Wolves for this upcoming season, they are holding a tryout at the University of Michigan in early March.
The Wolves’ first preseason opponent is the Jackson Battlehawks, which is a game that Coach Gossett is excited to be a part of.
The Wolves and Battlehawks will square off on April 26 at Jackson High School. The scheduled start time for the game is 6pm.
