Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Marc W. Daly) — So far a busy lame duck session in the Michigan Senate. Senator Sue Shink said among several pieces of legislation that have been approved and sent over to the house is a proposal to raise the cap on unemployment benefits:
Recently WKHM discussed with state leaders their concerns of lack of productivity during lame duck in the state’s House of Representatives due to attendance issues. Senator Sue Shink is also concerned some legislation that she feels is important won’t make it to the Governor’s desk.
