Prosecutor candidates comment on current office, future plans if elected

Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — Tuesday Jackson will elect a new prosecuting attorney. Current prosecutor Jerry Jarzynka is retiring and there are two Republican candidates on the ballot to replace him: Jared Hopkins and Kelsey Guernsey.

Jared Hopkins told WKHM if elected he will still try cases:
