Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — Some very serious money issues are developing at a number of school districts across the state. WKHM reported last week that Ann Arbor Schools are facing a $25 million shortfall and they have approved a plan to lay off teachers, which has many up in arms in that district.
The Covid relief funds are no longer and schools now need to watch budgets very carefully, as we addressed with area State Representative Kathy Schmaltz:
