Jackson County Prosecutor Jerry Jarzynka issued a statement announcing that 33 year-old Christopher Michael Wright was bound to Circuit Court for trial over open murder and 1st degree arson in the housefire that killed a 28 year-old man back in February.

Authorities say that Wright intentionally started the housefire on the porch of 2202 E. Ganson. Firefighters located the victim, 28 year-old Jacob Robert-Dean Eddy, deceased inside the home.

Prosecutors say Wright knew the occupants of the home.

Wright is scheduled to appear before Circuit Judge Thomas Wilson. His bond is set at $500k.
