A head-on collision on US-127 Thursday in Somerset Township left two people seriously injured.
The crash happened just before midnight on US-127 near Harper Rd, when police say an Indiana man driving northbound struck a southbound vehicle head-on while attempting to pass another vehicle.
Responders had to utilize the jaws of life to remove all three occupants from their vehicles.
The two occupants of the southbound vehicle, a 20 year-old and 26 year-old, were sent Henry Ford Allegiance Health with serious injuries.
The Indiana man was treated for minor injuries and is currently lodged in the Hillsdale County Jail on drunk driving charges.
The crash remains under investigation.
