JACKSON, MI – A message was issued to JHS families, Students, and Staff
“JHS and JPHS families, staff, and students,
JHS/Jackson Pathways lockdown has been lifted. We have been working with the JPD onsite to investigate the validity of the Snapchat threat shared with us today. We have since been made aware that this is a national threat to many HS throughout the country. Additionally, we have been informed that police have determined that the threat originated in Jupiter, Florida for Jonesboro High School and an arrest was made last night.”
This comes shortly after it was reported there was a threat issued towards Jackson High School made over Snapchat, which caused the school to lockdown. The school has since returned to regular activities.
