Alicia Curtis Joins Alma Mater JHS As Assistant Principal

Jackson, MI, August 3, 2021 – Jackson Public Schools is pleased to announce Mrs.
Alicia Curtis as the new Assistant Principal at Jackson High School.

Curtis began her journey in education at Olivet College where she earned her
undergraduate degree in Education. In 2020 she completed her Masters in
Administration from Grand Canyon University.

Mrs. Curtis is a proud JHS alumni. She has been a 5th grade teacher at Dibble
Elementary for the past 6 years.

“I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to give back to a school district that has given my family and I so much. Jackson High has always been very close to my heart.” said Curtis. “ I’m looking forward to working with a phenomenal staff, and an amazing student population.”

Monica Pierce, Jackson High School Principal for Instruction, said “We are looking forward to a great year with Alicia leading our Class of 2025! As a JHS alum and Viking at heart, Alicia’s love for our students and connections with parents will be beneficial in her new role as JHS Assistant Principal.”
