There have been 1,117 new cases of COVID-19 in the state of Michigan reported since yesterday, and 75 deaths attributed to the virus, bringing Michigan’s totals to 7,615 cases and 259 deaths.
According to the CDC, Michigan now ranks #4 in the U.S. for numbers of COVID-19 cases, behind New York, New Jersey, and California.
Henry Ford Allegiance Health in Jackson confirms that as of 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 31 there were 18 inpatients with COVID-19 in addition to 14 persons under investigation who are also inpatient at the hospital.
