State Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey says lawmakers trying to put the clamps on the shifting of appropriated money is not a power grab.
Sen Shirkey was on WKHM Tuesday morning and just after that appearance, County Commission chair Steve Shotwell thanked the governor and lawmakers for the current pinch the county finds itself in.
Even though the snow is nearly here, Jackson County is finalizing some big road plans.
