Rescue workers used extrication equipment to free a 16-year-old girl from the wreckage of her vehicle after a Tuesday afternoon accident in Sandstone Township. The girl was northbound on N. Dearing Road near I-94 around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. According to authorities neither speed nor alcohol appeared to be factors in the crash. The girl was transported to Henry Ford Allegiance Health and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
