Cindy Allen loves Jackson College.
She joined WKHM to celebrate Jackson College’s 90 years of service to the community. First, they talked to Jackson College graduates.”I’ve really enjoyed this past year, I think right now on our website, celebrating our 90th, we have 50 different testimonials from amazing individuals in this community,” Allen said. “It was all about Jackson College, it’s what got them started and without us they don’t know where they’d be right now. It’s amazing.” So how has Jackson College not only lasted but thrived since 1929? It’s been two fold. Allen gives credit to the faculty and staff. “We hire such great people. Our faculty are second to none, they’re fabulous in the classroom.” She also said that in the recent history, Jackson College President Dan Phelan has raised the bar of excellence. “President Phelan certainly doesn’t spend any time letter the grass grow under his feet when it comes to pioneering and coming up with new things to try to see if we can move the needle even higher for our students.”
