Hardy souls will be jumping into the frigid waters of Clark Lake this Saturday to raise money for the Special Olympics. The annual Polar Plunge begins at 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Pointe Bar and Grill on Eagle Point Road. Registration is $75, but donations above $75 earn prizes depending on the size of the donation. Money raised through donations and registration will provide free sports training, competition, health screenings and inclusive programs for more than 23,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities in Michigan.
