Authorities have yet to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a Summit Township home Sunday afternoon. The Summit Twp. Fire Department responded around 12:45 p.m. Sunday to a home in the 700 block of Dettman Road to find flames showing and heavy smoke. There were no injuries reported as everyone inside the home made it out before the fire department arrived. Firefighters from the city of Jackson, Blackman-Leoni Twp. and Spring Arbor fire departments assisted in battling the blaze.
