The Jackson Police Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those involved in a shooting that took place near the intersection of First and W. Franklin Streets in September of last year. 19-year-old Jazzrell Juwan Witherspoon was shot and killed while walking near the intersection at approximately 10 p.m. on September 26th. Police have released video images of a vehicle they believe to be involved in the shooting. Authorities are looking for a gray Chevrolet Traverse with possible damage on the passenger side of the vehicle. Anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to contact Detective Burkart at 768-8770.
