Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Spring is here, and that means the 2025 volunteer season for People for the Parks and Trails (PPT) is about to begin in Jackson.
The group’s Spring Kickoff Event is taking place Saturday, March 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the Boos Recreation Center in Loomis Park. This is a chance for volunteers to reconnect after the winter break and gear up for upcoming projects.
New volunteers can learn about PPT and meet fellow volunteers. The event will also serve as the Annual Meeting, where board confirmations and plans for the year’s projects will be discussed.
The Boos Center is located at 210 Gilbert Street, with parking available via Edgewood Street. Look for the entrance along the playground.
