Jackson Mayor Daniel Mahoney will deliver the annual State of the City Address Wednesday evening at the City Center, the former Masonic Temple, at 145 W. Cortland St.
The event highlights the city’s progress over the past year and outlines future plans. Officials say it also gives residents a chance to see the ongoing transformation of the historic building, which will soon house an incubator kitchen and food service training center.
Construction is expected to be completed later this spring.
The address is free to attend and starts at 6 p.m.
