
Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — At around 7:15 p.m. on Friday evening, a Jackson County Deputy recognized a subject at the Buddy’s in Summit Township who had a felony warrant for illegally carrying a concealed weapon. A field contact was initiated and a vehicle pursuit ensued.
The suspect driver stopped in the area of Plymouth Street near Pleasant Street in the City of Jackson and was taken into custody without incident. The suspect was arrested and lodged for felony fleeing and eluding police and his outstanding felony warrant for CCW.
During the pursuit, the Deputy observed an object was thrown out of the vehicle. Another Deputy located a mask and a State Police K9 Team responded and located a firearm, which was reported stolen. No vehicles were damaged during the pursuit.
