Jennifer Voorhees is a wife and mother to three children. She has been battling a rare terminal cancer known as glioblastoma since February 2021. Her husband and full time caregiver, John, lost his job this past November, putting stress on their financial situation. Dinner organizer Jill Beyer spoke with WKHM about the circumstances surrounding the event.
Jennifer’s cancer has also gotten worse in recent times, as Jill provided an update on its significant progression.
The Benefit Dinner is being held at the American Legion Post #315 on Chicago Street in Brooklyn, Michigan on February 2nd from 2-5pm. Dinner costs are $12 for adults and $6 for children.
