Flames lit up the night sky in Rives Junction Saturday night as firefighters battled a house fire near Maple Lane Road and Spruce Grove. Michigan Fire Alerts says the Onondaga Fire Department arrived around 9 p.m. to find heavy flames pouring from the one-story home. Fortunately, no one was inside, and there were no injuries. A second alarm was called to help contain the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
