Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Jackson County, in effect from 5 p.m. today (Wednesday, December 4) until 1 a.m. Friday, December 6.
Snow and blowing snow is expected with total snow accumulations between 2 and 4 inches with locally higher amounts possible. Winds gusting as high as 45 MPH.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday evening commute and Thursday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
Snow squalls will affect visibility and road conditions including the I96, I94, US131, US127, and I69 corridors. Hazardous travel conditions Wednesday night into Thursday. Slow down and use caution when traveling.
