Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Voters in Jackson County are showing up in record numbers for early voting ahead of the November 5 general election. Jackson County Clerk Cierra Sowle reports over 5,200 ballots have already been cast in the first three days, a huge leap from the less than 700 early votes seen in earlier elections this year.

For city residents, early voting is open daily through November 3 on the second floor of City Hall, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. County voters can cast early ballots at Blackman Charter and Summit Township offices during specific hours through Sunday, November 3. Additionally, voters in Columbia Township and Spring Arbor have designated sites and times available for early voting.

This surge in turnout reflects growing interest in early voting, with feedback indicating strong voter enthusiasm for this option.
