JPS Board to negotiate possible separation agreement with Jeff Beal; hear his public apology

Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — The Jackson Public School board met last night, and after their normal business, went into executive session for a private discussion on the text message issue concerning Superintendent Jeff Beal. The lengthy session, lasting over two hours, caused some in the audience to leave the proceedings. When the board returned, board president Pam Fitzgerald  had this for the remaining members of the public:
