Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — The big car show downtown Friday night includes two live broadcasts with McKibbin Media Group (MMG) — 3 to 5 p.m. at Bella Notte, and 5 to 7 p.m. at the downtown MMG studio. Steve Boyle will be hosting the live broadcasts on our sister station K105.3 along with MMG’s newest addition, Production Director Connor Dockery.
Just down the street on the Grand River Brewery property is the Downtown Backyard Barbecue for year two. This is a big party and fundraiser for the Jackson Friendly Home and John George Home. Organizer Chad Kennedy recently joined WKHM and told us they’ve tweaked a few things this year:
The entertainment lineup is jam-packed with Austin Brown performing from 6 to 7 p.m., Kung Fu Diesel from 7:30 til 8:30 p.m., and the Bob Seger tribute band “Katmandu” on from 8:30 until 10:30 p.m.
Tickets are available online at the link below or at the door for $25.
