Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — Memory lane will be on fire Saturday afternoon and well into the evening at the Michigan Theatre in Jackson. Former Jacksonian, now a highly successful California businessman, Greg Dixon, is sponsoring “A Tribute to Jackson Rock Music Legend Jim Judge” and “Toad.” The event is a jam session of Jackson all-stars and will start up at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 20.
WKHM asked Steve Tucker, General Manager of the Michigan Theatre, about Jim Judge and the early days:
A plethora of local music legends will be on hand and performing, including the original “Toad” Jim Judge, Mike McGivern, and Steve Goss. Big L and Code Blu are also on the docket. There is no admission fee and concessions will be for sale including $1.00 hot dogs.
