
Jackson, Mich. (WKHM) — Due to heavy rain expected this week, The City of Jackson Police & Fire Summer Safety Series event scheduled for Wednesday, July 10 has been rescheduled to Wednesday, July 17. It will take place from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Loomis Park in Jackson.
The event includes free food, games, safety information, bike and helmet raffles for ages 12 & under, $50 Visa gift card raffles for ages 13-18, and the opportunity to meet public safety officers and interact with police cars and fire trucks.
The event is hosted by the City of Jackson Police & Fire Services.
Future Summer Safety Series events will be held from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. July 31 at Nixon Park, and August 14 at the MLK Center.
