Shooter found dead after splash pad shooting

shooting-investigation

Rochester Hills, Mich. — At least nine people are injured after a random shooting at a Metro Detroit splash pad on Saturday evening. Police say a man opened fire shortly after 5 p.m. at the Brooklands Plaza Splash Pad in Rochester Hills. The gunman, identified as 42-year-old  Michael Nash, potentially fired more than 20 shots before leaving the scene. Officials say the suspected shooter has now died, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Most of the victims are in stable condition. However, two of the victims, an 8-year-old boy and a 39-year-old woman, are in critical condition.
