A Michigan caregiver has been convicted in the death of an 82-year-old woman.
Colleen Kelly OConnor, 58, of East Lansing, was convicted of second-degree vulnerable adult abuse, a four-year felony, according to Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel.
OConnor was charged in November 2023 after failing to prevent the victim from going outdoors in a snow storm, resulting in her freezing to death. Her body was discovered by a snowplow driver.
OConnor’s sentencing will be on July 29.
