Jackson, Mich. (WKHM, Greg O’Connor) — WKHM reported Friday that the Jackson County Fair will not be including any national stage acts in this summer’s fair lineup. The Jackson County Fair takes place August 4 – 10, 2024.
We asked Jackson County Commission chair Steve Shotwell for a reaction to our report. He says the focus moving forward will be on affordable, family-friendly acts & entertainment.
The chairman confirmed no big acts this year — with the reason being strictly money. Shotwell says these type of shows are pricing themselves out of smaller markets.
