Residents in Jackson’s First Ward have an upcoming opportunity to meet with their City Council representative and learn the latest news from their neighborhood. City Councilmember Arlene Robinson is holding a neighborhood meeting for the First Ward on Thursday, March 14 at 6:00 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center.
Councilmember Robinson organized the neighborhood meeting to present information on the planned reconstruction of S. MLK Drive and its proposed assessments, along with a discussion about forming neighborhood watch groups.
Ward 1 covers Jackson’s south side neighborhoods. All residents are welcome to attend. The MLK Recreation Center is located at 1107 Adrian St.
