Have you noticed that gasoline prices are less than they have been lately? Triple A of Michigan says gas prices here are down nine cents from last week. Across the Mitten State, drivers are paying an average of $2.81 a gallon for regular unleaded. That is 39 cents less than this time last month and 52 cents less than this time a year ago.

The most expensive gas prices being reported in the state are in Jackson, Ann Arbor and Marquette. The cheapest gas prices are being reported in the cities of Grand Rapids, Flint and Benton Harbor.
