Minimum wage debate in Michigan headed to ballot

A group pushing to raise the minimum wage in Michigan says it has enough signatures to put the issue on next year’s ballot. Executives with One Fair Wage say if the proposal is approved in the November general election, the state’s minimum wage would increase from the current $10.10 an hour to $15 an hour by 2027 and phase out sub-minimum wages for tipped and young workers.
