Hazy skies linger in Michigan due to Canadian wildfires

The Canadian Press says that thousands of people have had to evacuate northwestern Quebec this past weekend due to over 150 wildfires, which firefighters and Canadian military are working to contain.

The smoke from these fires is making its way south across Michigan, which is causing hazy skies and poor air quality in some areas. These conditions can be expected for the next few days into midweek, but shouldn’t impair visibility or much else in the Jackson area, according to meteorologists.
