Jackson, Mich. — Adrienne Zaski, Brand Manager at Ford Motor Company, joined Greg O’Connor on WKHM this morning to share more information on the recently unveiled 2023 Escape, one of Ford’s compact SUVs.
“We’ve redesigned both the exterior and the interior of this vehicle, we are excited to carry over four of our powertrains including a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid for customers that are interested in fuel economy but maybe not ready to go into a full electric vehicle,” commented Zaski.
According to Zaski, the Ford Escape was the first hybrid compact SUV of its kind. “The Ford Escape introduced the hybrid to the small utility segment and we are excited to continue that tradition with this vehicle,” said Zaski, adding that she knows fuel economy is important to Ford’s customers.
Ford is also introducing a new ST line of the Escape, a more sporty model that has both exterior and interior stylings which stand out from the rest, says Zaski, including a 13.2″ center screen inside the vehicle and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Zaski says the order banks are open and starting today customers can go to Ford.com to see what the new Escape looks like and start a custom build.
Originally hailing from Jackson, Zaski says Ford was her first job out of college and she’s now been with the company for 14 years.
