Brayden Lape is a name you may have heard locally if you follow high school sports. He’s a quarterback for Grass Lake High School, a threat on the hard court and on the mound for the Warriors baseball team. Now you can add singer to that list as Lape made his debut on NBC’s The Voice this week.
Brayden, along with his entire family, were put into the spotlight earlier this week on national television as none other than Blake Shelton turned his chair to see the 15-year-old belt out a country-fied version of Nial Horan’s “This Town”.
The K105.3 Morning Show, Scott Clow and Jenny Lewis, spoke with Brayden on Tuesday, you can hear the entire interview below, including Lape answering Blake Shelton trivia and more. They also announced that you can see Brayden live on the Solar Harvest Main Stage in the 2 o’clock hour at this Saturday’s Fall Fest and Chili Classic on Michigan Avenue in downtown Jackson.
