On Thursday, March 30th at 9:16pm, Blackman dTownship responded to a report of a car / motorcycle crash on Page Avenue near Ronald Road in Leoni Township.
According to an email from Director of Public Safety Michael Jester, a westbound motorcycle, driven by Chris Withrow (23-year-old) of Pleasant Lake, rear ended a truck driven by an unnamed 18-year-old from Leoni Township.
Mr. Withrow sustained fatal injuries. The driver of the truck was uninjured.
According to witnesses, the motorcycle was driving at a high rate of speed, prior to the crash.
