There is a moderate risk of severe weather today. Thunderstorms with hail and damaging wind gusts up to hurricane force are expected from late morning through late afternoon.
Severe Thunderstorms Expected This Afternoon and Evening
Severe thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening, with the main threats expected to be damaging wind gusts to 70 MPH. Large hail up to 1 inch will also be possible along with a few tornadoes. Be sure to have a way to receive warnings, and stay weather aware if you are out and about today!
