Jackson County is reporting that there have now been reported a total of 255 cases of COVID-19 in Jackson County, resulting in 11 fatalities. Combined with the total numbers of cases and deaths within Jackson-area MDOC facilities, the total is 332 recorded COVID-19 cases and 18 deaths. The Parnall Correctional Facility is the MDOC facility with the highest concentration of cases in the state.
As of 5 p.m. April 19th, Henry Ford Allegiance Health reports 53 hospitalized positive cases and 49 COVID-19 patients who have been discharged.
Today the State of Michigan reports a new tally of 32,000 total cases in Michigan, causing 2,468 fatalities in our state.
