As of 3pm Monday, April 13th, The State of Michigan reports there have been 25,635 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Michigan, and 1,602 total related deaths. The new daily count is 997 confirmed cases and 115 deaths reported since yesterday.
There was a drop in the rate of increase from Saturday’s to Sunday’s numbers, however, the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services says that may be attributed to slower reporting due to the holiday weekend. Easter was Sunday, April 12th. There is not quite enough data yet to prove an actual decrease in number of cases. Michigan was predicted to hit the peak last week.
The cumulative total of recovered COVID-19 cases in Michigan is 433.
