The Parnall Correctional Facility has the highest amount of cases of the Jackson-area MDOC facilities, with 58 COVID-19 cases among staff, 144 cases among prisoners, and 3 prisoner deaths.
According to data compiled by the New York Times, the Parnall Correctional Facility is one of the nation’s top “hot spots” for the spread of COVID-19.
