Whitmer expected to extend Stay Home, Stay Safe order

Governor Gretchen Whitmer will hold a press briefing at 3pm today, Thursday, April 9th, where she has confirmed with media outlets that she will be extending the current Stay Home, Stay Safe order.

The original order was set to expire on April 13th. The CDC social distancing guidelines for the U.S. are currently active through the end of April. The peak of the Pandemic is expected to be reached here in Michigan mid-April with over 3,000 deaths by May.
