Classic Limousine in Brooklyn is helping pair Columbia Elementary students with local law enforcement for a fun day of shopping called Shop With a Cop today, Friday, December 13th. This is just one of many Shop With a Cop events nationwide.
Phil Gritzmaker, owner of Classic Limousine, tells us “it’s designed to get the kids involved with, and comfortable with local law enforcement. Studies have shown that interaction with law enforcement as early as elementary school, helps create trust and security.”
Over 20 students will be shopping for holiday gifts for their own friends and family alongside law enforcement officers from Columbia Township.
