A 31-year-old Jackson man is in jail facing several charges after an attempted drive-by shooting Wednesday evening. A 28-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were walking in the area of E. South Street and Sunnyside Court just after 7:00 p.m. when multiple shots were fired from a passing vehicle. No one was injured in the shooting. Police collected evidence, identified a suspect, tracked him to a home, executed a search warrant and located the weapon believed to have been used in the shooting.
