Jackson County Commission Chair Steve Shotwell stopped by WKHM to heap some praise on the Department of Transportation in the county.
The mission is set by the county, and department head Christopher Boldt and his crew have executed it to a level worthy of national recognition. “He has quite a team. They’re not slackers in any way, shape, or form. Some have been with Jackson County for over 25 years, others are new hires that have joined the team,” Shotwell said.
Also, Shotwell discussed the county parks project, including a new mobile stage that can be transported to any county park, for any number of different purposes. “A lot of stuff that we’re buying to make our parks exciting going forward. We’ve got a new mobile stage that we’ll be able to put in any one of our parks.”
