Leoni Township Treasurer Patrick Clemente is fulfilling a campaign promise by reducing elected officials’ salaries, starting with his own. Clemente is taking a voluntary pay cut starting March 1st that will save the township $19,000 a year. Other pay cuts will be implemented after the next election.
