The Jackson County Department of Transportation used its new road recycling equipment to resurface one mile of Rosehill Road for a test run. Now that project has earned the 2019 Roads & Bridges/Asphalt Recycling and Reclaiming Association Recycling Award. The February issue of Roads & Bridges magazine featured the project on its cover. Jackson County is one of the first municipalities in the nation to own and operate the road recycling system.
