The Lenawee County and Brooklyn Shopko stores are among 17 Shopkos that will be closing in the near future in Michigan. The Wisconsin based retailer is closing 139 stores across the country. Locally, the May 12th closing will affect nearly 65 workers at Shopko stores. Shopko plans to help interested employees transfer to open positions in other locations.
